Distribution Center Upgrade

Problem:  Christian Music Distributor was experiencing 10-20% error rate in customer order fulfillment, inaccurate inventory and high returns.  Customer satisfaction was very low.

Solution:  Provide a PC Windows based Warehouse Management System, Pick to Light Paperless Order Picking and automated order packing and labeling system.  The WMS controlled receiving, put away, picking, carton sizing, order assembly and shipping.

The Result: an increase to 99.99% order, inventory and shipping accuracy within three months of going online.  Customer returns reduced by 95%, and Chordant voted number one in customer satisfaction at the end of the first full year of system commissioning.
